Leta has over 25 years of experience as the Director of the State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) and the Senior Medicare Patrol Program (SMP) for the University of Maryland and the State of Maryland. Now an independent consultant, she educates and advises individuals on the complexities of Medicare and how to maximize benefits. Leta does not represent any insurance carriers and is not licensed to sell insurance.

She has been quoted in the Washington Post and featured in the Washington Times and McGraw Hill’s “How to Retire Happy.” Leta’s expertise has guided employees at NASA, The Smithsonian, NARFE, AARP, and various governmental agencies. We are thrilled to have her join us for this webinar.
